What we offer
ADHD Assessment, Diagnosis & Medication Support
From assessment and diagnosis through to medication, titration, coaching, and counselling, we're here to support you at every stage.
Our experienced GPs and Nurse Practitioners can diagnose ADHD, prescribe medication where appropriate, complete Special Authorities, and provide ongoing medication reviews and titration support. They can also support a range of ADHD-related and general health concerns, working alongside your existing GP or providing ongoing care through Beehyve.
Coaching and counselling can be helpful before, during, and after assessment. While medication can make a significant difference, building new strategies and skills is often just as important. As we like to say, it takes both pills and skills.
We also offer sensory and dyslexia screening through our coaching team.
Flexible Payment Options
Pay by credit card, bank transfer, or spread the cost over time with a GoCardless payment plan. Many clients secure their appointment and then pay it off in instalments before their appointment date.
GP & NP Consultations

Our ADHD Screening Assessment is a DIVA-5 assessment that takes up to 90 minutes and is designed to identify whether ADHD traits are present
This is not a diagnosis. Instead, it helps determine whether ADHD is likely and whether a full diagnostic assessment is recommended.
Some people choose a screening assessment on its own because they want a better understanding of their ADHD traits and are not seeking medication or a formal diagnosis.
Not everyone will need a screening assessment. If your presentation is straightforward, we may recommend moving directly to a diagnostic assessment.
For more complex situations, a screening assessment can help us determine the most appropriate next step and whether you would be best supported by a GP, Clinical Psychologist, or another member of our team.
Following a screening assessment, we can:
Recommend a full ADHD diagnostic assessment
Help identify the most appropriate practitioner for your needs
Discuss treatment and support options
Connect you with coaching, therapy, or other supports where appropriate
Screening Assessment: $265

Our experienced GPs and Nurse Practitioners complete ADHD diagnostic assessments for adults where ADHD is the primary concern and no indicators suggest a more specialised assessment is needed.
Many clients are referred directly to a GP or Nurse Practitioner. Others may complete a Screening Assessment first if we need additional information about the most appropriate assessment pathway.
This is a differential assessment, meaning we look for ADHD traits as well as other conditions that can look similar to ADHD, occur alongside ADHD, or better explain your experiences. GP and NP assessments also include a medical review and can take up to 90 minutes.
If you're diagnosed with ADHD and medication is medically appropriate, your Beehyve clinician can:
Complete a Special Authority
Provide your first prescription
Discuss medication options and titration
Provide a comprehensive written report
Diagnostic Assessment: $695
Following diagnosis, you can choose whether ongoing titration is managed by Beehyve or your own GP.

Some people have a more complex presentation, which can make it harder to distinguish ADHD from other conditions or identify when several things may be happening at once. In these situations, we use a staged assessment pathway.
All clients following our Complex ADHD Assessment pathway begin with an ADHD Screening Assessment. This screening assessment helps us understand your presentation and determine the most appropriate next step.
Following screening, you will be referred to either one of our experienced ADHD assessment GPs or Nurse Practitioners, or to a Clinical Psychologist for a more in-depth assessment.Following screening, you will usually be referred to one of two pathways:
GP or Nurse Practitioner Pathway ($695)
For clients whose presentation can be appropriately assessed by an experienced ADHD assessment GP or Nurse Practitioner. This includes a comprehensive diagnostic and medical assessment, detailed report, Special Authority (where clinically appropriate), and first prescription.
OR
Psychologist Pathway ($1,085)
For clients with more complex presentations requiring a deeper psychological assessment. This includes an assessment of up to 90 minutes and a comprehensive written report.Following a diagnosis, a GP medical review will be recommended.
GP Medical Review ($395)
A 60-minute medical assessment with one of our GPs to review diagnosis, discuss treatment options, and, where clinically appropriate, complete a Special Authority and provide a first prescription. You could then choose whether ongoing titration is managed by Beehyve or your own GP.Your Own GP
You may choose to see your own GP following a psychologist assessment. They may be able to provide a Special Authority and ongoing titration support if they are comfortable doing so. We recommend checking with them before starting the assessment process, so you understand your options.

For adults who would like assessment for both ADHD and autism, we offer a comprehensive AuDHD assessment pathway with one of our Clinical Psychologists.
The process begins with an ADHD Screening Assessment, which helps us understand your presentation and determine whether an AuDHD assessment is the most appropriate next step.
The AuDHD assessment is completed over two appointments of up to 60 minutes each and includes a comprehensive written report.
Following the assessment, you may choose to complete a medical review with one of Beehyve's GPs or with your own GP. If ADHD is diagnosed and medication is appropriate, a GP can discuss treatment options, complete a Special Authority, and provide a first prescription where clinically appropriate.
Important: Telehealth autism assessments that result in an autism diagnosis are currently not eligible for MSD Individualised Funding (IF).
The AuDHD pathway consists of:

Up to 90 minutes
DIVA-5 assessment

Clinical Psychologist AuDHD Assessment – $1,625

GP Medical Review – $395 (if required)
Up to 60-minute medical review
