Bee introduced

Beehyve is a New Zealand-based team of clinicians, coaches, therapists, educators, and workplace specialists supporting ADHD, autism, learning differences, and neurodiversity across the lifespan. We provide assessment, diagnosis, medication support, coaching, counselling, workplace services, and practical strategies to help people thrive.

We launched Beehyve to meet a demand for support that truly understands the specific needs of the adult ADHD and neurodivergent community, and can serve a broad range of those working on their wellbeing. Although our individual focus areas are wide and varied, we all share a non-judgmental understanding of ADHD; that's at the heart of our work.

What We Do

  • ADHD assessment, diagnosis, and medication support

  • Coaching and counselling

  • Autism, dyslexia, sensory, and executive function assessments

  • Workplace neurodiversity training and consultancy

  • Support for adults 18+ and organisations

Together we’re different. And different is great!

Why We Started Beehyve

Beehyve was founded by Anna and Darrin after seeing how difficult it could be for people to find ADHD support that was knowledgeable, practical, and genuinely understanding. Over time, our focus broadened as we met more people seeking support for autism, learning differences, and other neurodiverse experiences. Today, Beehyve is a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, coaches, therapists, and support staff who share a simple goal: Meeting people where they’re at, and helping with access the understanding, assessment, and support they need to thrive.

Anna and Darrin met whilst acting as board members for the New Zealand ADHD Association (now ADHD NZ). There, they found complementary strengths in each other that six years later set the foundations for Beehyve. Together, their shared vision of helping others created a synergy that was too good not to grow.

They have both been deeply involved in advocating for access and awareness of ADHD and mental health through extensive volunteer work, professional development, and governance positions. Over the years, they have helped establish and support community initiatives across New Zealand, as well as in the United States and the UK.

Anna's personable manner, divergent creativity and integrity stand out. Previously a successful Corporate Account Manager in the tech world, she retrained in her 30s as a counsellor and now has over a decade of experience working with trauma, ADHD and neurodivergent clients.

Darrin has a brilliant mind, is perceptive and occasionally funny. A strategist by trade, he brings gentle guidance to Beehyve's business development.

What started as a small ADHD-focused service has grown into a broader multidisciplinary team supporting people with ADHD, autism, and other forms of neurodiversity. Long before adult ADHD was widely understood, Anna and Darrin were involved in advocacy, education, and initiatives that helped improve awareness and access to support. Along the way, they have worked alongside clinicians, community groups, and decision-makers to help shape positive change within the sector.

Today, Beehyve brings together a team with diverse skills and experience, united by a shared commitment to helping people find the right support. Despite its growth, the organisation remains approachable, down to earth, and focused on making a meaningful difference in people's lives.

If you’d like to bring your expertise to our team, then we’d love to hear from you.
