Pronouns: She ⸱ Her

Qualifications: MBChB, FRNZCGP

Claire is a GP with a genuine interest in mental health and ADHD, known for her calm, thoughtful approach that helps people feel at ease. Originally from Northern Ireland, Claire came to New Zealand for six months almost two decades ago — and never left.

Claire has always been drawn to mental health and more recently to ADHD, after seeing how life‑changing the right assessment and support can be. Claire has indepth expereince completing assessments with psychiatric oversight and enjoys the variety and depth of adult ADHD and ND work. She has a particular interest in ADHD across different life stages, including women’s health and perimenopause, but enjoys working with a variety of people who bring a wide range of experiences, challenges and strengths.

She enjoys working alongside people, taking the time to listen, build rapport and develop a plan that feels right for them at that point in their life. Claire is open, frank and empathetic in her communication, with a big‑picture approach to problem‑solving and a practical focus on making care flow smoothly.

Outside of work, Claire enjoys exploring the outdoors, spending her time biking, hiking and skiing in winter. She lives with her husband, young son and their dog, and is looking forward to working with the broader team at Beehyve to support people through thoughtful, compassionate assessments and GP support.
