Meet Conell
Conell is a Nurse Practitioner with more than 16 years' experience working across primary care, community mental health, private practice and inpatient services. He enjoys working alongside people from all walks of life and values getting to know the individual behind the diagnosis.
Conell has a particular interest in ADHD, autism and neurodiversity. He understands that mental health, physical health and neurodiversity often overlap, and believes the best outcomes come from looking at the whole picture. His approach is practical, collaborative and focused on finding solutions that fit each person's circumstances, goals and strengths.
As a Nurse Practitioner, Conell can assess, diagnose and treat a wide range of mental health conditions. This may include prescribing medication where appropriate, as well as exploring other evidence-based supports. He works closely with clients, families, GPs and other members of the Beehyve team to ensure care feels coordinated and tailored to the individual.
People often describe Conell as calm, approachable and easy to talk to. He is particularly comfortable supporting people through complex situations and enjoys helping them find a clear path forward when life feels overwhelming.
Outside of work, Conell enjoys spending time with his wife, their two boys and rescue dog. Whether he's working on a DIY project around the house, in the garden, tinkering with the car, heading to the gym or keeping up with his kids, he likes staying active and keeping busy
