Meet Abigail
Abigail is a student counsellor who can offer impactful support at just $45 per hour while they complete their study at AUT. Their interests span neurodiversity, grief, and somatic work, which is a therapeutic approach focusing on the body's role in psychological health. In addition, Abigail brings unique insights to support students, the queer community, and low-fee clients. They also have lived experience of neurodiversity, including dyslexia and dyspraxia, which enables a deep empathy and understanding.
Abigail prioritises establishing a safe environment in counselling so you can explore your thoughts, emotions and personal challenges.
“I've seen firsthand the incredible transformations that come from taking a pause to reflect on our own journey and working together to navigate life's hurdles. It's not just about problem-solving; it's about sharing stories, building connections, and finding strength in our collective experiences”, they explain.
Creativity is a big part of Abigail’s life, as is their love for learning and curiosity about the world. With Abigail, you'll enjoy a respectful and inclusive approach dedicated to understanding and supporting your unique journey, and you’re bound to have some fun and fascinating conversations along the way.
