Meet Abigail
With lived experience of neurodiversity, including dyslexia and dyspraxia, Abigail brings a grounded and compassionate perspective. Their counselling style focuses on creating a safe, non‑judgemental space where you can talk openly about your thoughts, feelings, and relationships—without shame.
Abigail’s interests include neurodiversity, particularly supporting people with ADHD and Autism. They also bring thoughtful insight into identity and belief systems, and into the experiences of queer and questioning people, as well as those navigating life changes and personal challenges.
As Abigail puts it: “Therapy shouldn't be one more place where you feel you have to explain or defend the fundamentals of who you are and where you come from. My goal is to create a space where your whole self—identities, relationships, and history—is not just accepted, but truly welcomed. We can work together to build a life that feels authentic and fulfilling, on your own terms.”
Abigail’s approach is relational and inclusive, recognising how cultural and systemic factors can shape wellbeing. They offer a thoughtful space to explore how identity, relationships, and beliefs connect—especially when these experiences feel complicated or don’t fit neatly into traditional frameworks. Whether you’re moving through everyday life challenges, exploring your gender or sexuality, or simply looking for a place to be fully yourself, you’ll be met with care and respect.
Creativity, curiosity, and a love of learning sit at the heart of Abigail’s life and practice. Working with Abigail offers a collaborative, respectful environment—and often some engaging and meaningful conversations along the way.
